Founded in 2020, Get My Slice is the consumer data marketplace app that allows shoppers and internet users to extract value from their data. Available as a free app on iOS and Android, it offers consumers data rewards, cashback, discounts, freebies and other offers from 2,000+ leading retailers and brands, including Revolut, Coinbase, SimplyCook & Booking.com. Based on their opted-in searching, browsing and transaction data across Facebook, Google and Open Banking, it allows consumers to take back control of their data – and make it pay – meaning consumers earn a fair ‘slice’ of the value generated by businesses from their data.
Having seen rapid growth in the number of users on the app – 7.5k users within the first 90 days and YOY 40% increase – Get My Slice wanted to ensure that it could enhance customer engagement among its existing customers, helping them to get more value out of the app and the offers available, while helping to grow new app users, through organic customer acquisition and referrals. It also wanted to future-proof the business for international growth, as it eyes taking its success in the UK market and launching into additional global locales in the near future.

This engagement has also seen average revenue per user rise by +14% across email and push notifications.
