Retail Connections brings together people with influence in retail to share their insights on industry innovation.

Retailers are having to reinvent their businesses from top to bottom, making critical decisions about what resources, systems and processes they need to profitably reach and sell to the connected, omnichannel consumer.

The challenge therefore is to create a technology roadmap, enabling agile business transformation for an uncertain future. Meanwhile, a tidal wave of innovation is forcing retailers to find new ways to monitor, process, commission, implement and manage their enterprise technology.

Through our events and resources, Retail Connections empowers retailers and vendors to fast forward conversations, reposition for change and drive business performance through innovation – and members of our community share many of these insights in our retail news and blog page.

Retail Connections is an initiative from our core business, Fieldworks, a specialist marketing agency that helps technology companies sell to brands and retailers.

Chris' bio

If you operate in the retail technology market, it is more than likely you’ll know Chris Field.

A longstanding retail journalist, editor, analyst and speaker, Chris brings vast industry experience to his role as head of innovation at Retail Connections. His writing and insights have appeared in the Financial Times, TIME magazine, Retail Week, Drapers, The Grocer, Computer Weekly and a host of other major business titles.

He is a go-to retail expert for broadcast media, such as Sky News, and he has an opinion on all aspects of the retail landscape.
